Registration and Auditions for 2026-27 Season
Please submit online or you can download, print and fill out forms below, then mail them or bring to the office before class.
All Students:
First day of rehearsals will be September 17, 2026
Rehearsals will start on September 17th at 4:00 pm at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1109 NW Garden Valley Boulevard, Roseburg. Please arrive by 3:45 to check in and pick up instruments and purchase book for new students. All students will need to bring a pencil, music stand and orchestra folder and music/book once handed out. Please label everything with name and phone number.
Students must be picked up immediately after class. Students are not allowed to wander in the building or on the property. Instrument rent can be paid online via PayPal, the 1st Thursday of each month in a drop box with Kristin or pay for the entire year and receive one month free. If returning students need to be measured, please call Kristin.
Students are expected to practice on a regular basis between classes. If your student needs extra help, you may reach out to Kristin. We are excited to see everyone back and to welcome our new students! Please don’t hesitate to call Kristin with any other questions.
New Students:
♪ New students must call to reserve class placement and to be measured for an instrument. Students are accepted throughout the summer and into September unless classes are full or no instruments are available for rent. Please call Kristin at 541/643-5035 to make an appointment to be measured for an instrument or to determine whether classes can take additional students. If you wish to purchase your own instrument, please do so through Kristin; please do not attempt to order your own instrument.
♪ Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra has some instruments available for rent at reasonable prices, at first-come availability. UVYO isn't able to guarantee that an instrument will be available for each student, so it is in your best interest to register early. **Note: If you will need an instrument to rent for the season, you must have a signed, current rental agreement on file.

Please either submit online or print and complete the following forms, below:
- registration form with initialed media/liability releases (you may view the media/liability releases, below)
- instrument rental form, if you have already made arrangements to rent an instrument from UVYO. **Note: If you will need an instrument to rent for the season, you must have a signed, current rental agreement on file.
- NOTE: You will not be required to turn in signed media/liability release forms for the 2026-27 season, but you can read those on this website and at the payments table when registering. You will initial on the registration form that you have read and agree with those releases. Thank you.

Fees for the 2026-27 season:
- If registered with Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra before July 1, 2026, early registration fees are $90.00 per year to participate ($260 per family for 3 or more students).
- Regular registration (after July 1) is $130.00 per student or $320.00 per family with 3 or more students.
- We hold a Winter and a Spring concert as well as other smaller performances during the season.

are currently involved in our programs for students ages 6 to adult, and we welcome new members!
